After trading superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets during the NFL offseason in a blockbuster deal, the Green Bay Packers officially turned to Jordan Love to take over and lead this storied franchise.

Needless to say, Love had some giant shoes to fill in the same way that Rodgers had a tall task ahead of him to replace Brett Favre as the face of the Packers.

Obviously, Rodgers did an excellent job of replacing Favre, but no one was all that confident that Love could follow in his footsteps and keep the Packers humming in 2023.

Although it was a rocky start for Love, and at times it looked like the young quarterback wasn’t the answer for this team, the 25-year-old has now led the Packers into the NFL playoffs as a result of a win over the division-rival Chicago Bears on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Not only was it impressive for Love to do what he’s done this year, but when the lights were the brightest, he stepped up in Week 18 with a solid performance against the Bears via PFF.

Here are some fan reactions to Love putting on a show on Sunday and punching the team’s ticket to the playoffs:

With the Packers now playoff-bound, Love will have his work cut out for him against some stiff competition in the NFC playoffs, starting with the Dallas Cowboys next week in Texas.

Green Bay will head into this game against Dak Prescott and company as the underdog, which is the biggest game of Love’s career.
