The Chicago Bears will enter the offseason as one of the most intriguing teams to watch considering their draft capital in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

The Bears will have the No. 1 overall pick despite owning a 7-9 record thanks to their trade at last year’s draft with the Carolina Panthers.

Carolina traded away a haul of draft assets to select Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick, and their bet played out perfectly for Chicago who has a chance to either trade down to collect more picks or select one of the two top quarterback prospects in the class.

USC’s Caleb Williams is considered the consensus No. 1 overall pick, though UNC’s Drake Maye has a case and could leapfrog Williams between now and the draft.

Any franchise would be thrilled to add either of the two, but the Bears already have Justin Fields who has shown some real flashes throughout the 2023 NFL season.

Some argue that Chicago should roll with Fields as their quarterback, but people like Terry Bradshaw believe that they should go after Maye via FOX.

“They’ve got so many No. 1 picks I think they got to go after that kid at UNC,” Bradshaw said.

While Williams might be the most talented quarterback in the draft. Maye is as pro-ready as a prospect there can be as he can make just about every throw in the book.

Fields is a dual-threat signal caller who can make splash plays with his legs, but when he’s forced to drop back and pass he can run into trouble.

Fans shouldn’t be too upset if Chicago decides to draft a quarterback in the draft.
