LeBron James has never been shy about expressing his desire to one day share the court with his eldest son, Bronny James, once he enters the NBA.

Considering Bronny has started college this season, he can declare for the 2024 NBA Draft.

Many believe that the 19-year-old should wait for a couple of years before deciding to play in the NBA.

While Bronny is trying to find his place on USC’s basketball team, LeBron James’ Lakers are going through a rough patch in the 2023-24 NBA season.

So much so that James went as far as saying Bronny could play for the Lakers right now, considering the current state of the team via Legion Hoops on Twitter.

“He could play for us right now. Easy. Easy,” James said.

While it would be a dream come true for fans to see LeBron and Bronny James play together in the NBA, it’s obvious that the 39-year-old made the comment in a sarcastic manner.

After all, the Lakers are currently one of the worst teams in the Western Conference with a 17-19 record.

They are just the 11th seed in the West, despite LeBron James and Anthony Davis putting up elite numbers in almost every game.

The Lakers could actually benefit from making a trade and finding a better point guard around the NBA Trade Deadline.

They could also end up firing Darvin Ham as most of the fanbase has already turned against the sophomore head coach this season.
