Although the Milwaukee Bucks are in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 25-10 record, there are reasons to be concerned about them.
They barely beat the awful San Antonio Spurs 125-121 on Thursday, albeit in a thrilling and exciting game, and they have had trouble beating some of the best teams in the NBA.
They lost their lone game so far against the Boston Celtics, who are in first place in the East, and they’re just 1-4 versus the Indiana Pacers, who are five games behind them in the standings.
But it didn’t prevent starting guard Malik Beasley from issuing a warning to the Pacers, per NBACentral.
“I know we’re going to play them in the playoffs, and boy, it’s not going to be pretty for them,” Beasley said.

Beasley has started each of his 33 games this season, and he’s shooting an outstanding 46.9 percent from 3-point range on 6.3 attempts a game.
The 3-point specialist has rebounded nicely after being inconsistent from downtown the past two seasons, and he has helped the Bucks rank second in scoring and sixth in 3-point accuracy.
The one team that is averaging more points than them right now is the Pacers, who are clocking in at an unthinkable 126.9 points a game.
The Pacers are also first in offensive rating, assists per game, field-goal percentage, and they’re second in fast-break points per game.
They might not win the world championship this season, but they do have an emerging superstar in Tyrese Haliburton and eight players who are averaging double figures in scoring.
A Bucks-Pacers matchup in the playoffs could be dangerous for a Bucks team that is struggling defensively, but it should be a treat for fans, as it should be a super shootout with possibly some competitive 140-point games.
