The Baltimore Ravens are the top team in the AFC and one of the best teams in the NFL this season.
That is not by accident as they are one of the most well-run organizations from the top to bottom.
Baltimore has become one of the best drafting teams in the NFL, which has much to do with General Manager Eric DeCosta.
DeCosta continues to pull all of the right strings when it comes to the draft, free agency, and trades.
Baltimore has six Pro Bowlers this year, four of which were drafted by DeCosta.
The other two were Roquan Smith and Lamar Jackson.
Smith was acquired via trade last year while Jackson was signed to a long-term contract this past offseason.
NFL Insider Josina Anderson also pointed out that DeCosta did a great job adding complementary players this past offseason.
He brought in both Odell Beckham Jr. and Jadeveon Clowney, both of whom have played well for the Ravens.
Plus, gave Lamar Jackson his money, exceeded Odell Beckham Jr’s competing offer and gave Jadeveon Clowney an opportunity to join a place where he’d feel more comfortable. https://t.co/PcCM70scvx

Fans also had plenty to say about the job DeCosta is doing.
Would appear Ozzie taught him a few things. 😎

The Ravens are getting set to enter the playoffs as the number-one seed in the AFC.
The road to the Super Bowl will go through Baltimore and that is always a tough task for opposing teams.
Lamar Jackson is one player that needs to prove he can dominate in the postseason.
He is the favorite to win his second NFL MVP this year and only has one career playoff win.
