The Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the most consistent teams in the NFL over the past two decades.
Every season they are in the race for a playoff spot and that has a lot to do with head coach Mike Tomlin.
Tomlin is one of the best coaches in the NFL, and his resume speaks for itself with a career record of 172-100-2.
The most impressive part of Tomlin’s coaching career is that he has never had a losing season.
Travis and Jason Kelce recently talked on the “New Heights” podcast about Tomlin’s success and earlier season speculation about his job status.
“The media is so dumb,” Kelce said.
Travis Kelce calls out the Media for saying Mike Tomlin should have been Fired: “They were talking about firing him seven weeks ago? The media are so dumb. Why do we even do media? They’re just a bunch of jackasses.” #Steelers #NFL pic.twitter.com/5U2K4vVrUp

While some of the winning seasons in Tomlin’s career have been 8-8 or 9-7, the team is always in contention.
You can do much worse in the NFL than have a coach whose team is always competitive.
One issue for the Steelers in recent years has been their quarterback play.
The team has been looking for a new franchise signal caller ever since Ben Roethlisberger retired.
It is becoming more and more clear that they do not have one on their current roster.
The Steelers’ front office owes it to him to try and find a quarterback that can get the team back into Super Bowl contention.
