The Washington Wizards are going through a miserable season, as they have entered 2024 with a 6-26 record, which is the second-worst mark in the Eastern Conference.
They haven’t been to the playoffs since 2021 and haven’t finished with a winning record in six years.
The Wizards have undergone plenty of changes over the last couple of years, and another big change could be coming soon.
Per Legion Hoops, insider Brett Siegel said they will make Kyle Kuzma available for trade if another team is willing to give up “multiple first-round picks” for him.

Kuzma is clearly Washington’s best player, and he is averaging 23.1 points and 4.3 assists a game, both of which are career highs, so far this season.
They originally acquired him in the summer of 2021 when they traded Russell Westbrook to the Los Angeles Lakers.
At age 28, Kuzma has entered his prime, and he could be a difference-maker for a contending team or a squad that aspires to become a contender, as he is a skilled scorer and has improved his defense, rebounding, and passing over the last few years.
The Wizards are stuck in rebuilding mode, and building up a treasure chest of future draft picks would be their best bet moving forward so they can take their chances on drafting a potential star.
Kuzma is coming off his best effort of the season on New Year’s Eve when he scored 38 points on 15-of-31 shooting and 7-of-18 from 3-point range plus eight rebounds and five assists in a 130-126 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.
