When the Miami Dolphins traded for Tyreek Hill last season, it signaled that the team was serious about making noise in the postseason.

After a successful first season in Miami, Hill has been putting on a show during the 2023 NFL season as he’s been arguably the best offensive player in the league.

Hill set a goal for himself before the season started that he wanted to hit 2,000 yards receiving and for a bit he was well on pace to hit the mark.

However, Hill suffered an ankle injury that forced him to miss a game and that derailed his chances.

Despite the fact that he’ll likely come up short of his goal, it’s still been an impressive showing for the star wideout.

In the Dolphins’ Week 17 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, Hill made NFL history via FOX.

“1st player with multiple 1,700+ receiving yard seasons,” the graphic shows.

It’s quite the accomplishment for Hill who has been truly one of the few unguardable offensive players in the NFL.

His combination of speed, athleticism, and route running has made him a frequent target of Tua Tagovailoa and is a legitimate game-changer every week.

While Miami would end up getting blown out by Baltimore, it doesn’t change the fact that Hill and company will be a problem come the playoffs.

Opposing defenses understand the key to beating the Dolphins is to slow down their passing game, but that’s a lot easier said than done when they’ve got someone like Hill they need to worry about on every down.
