Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had a game to remember in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions.
Lamb caught 13 passes for 227 yards and one touchdown to set the Cowboys’ single-season record for receptions and receiving yards in the 20-19 win.
Those 13 receptions and 227 yards were also the most by Lamb in any single game in his career.
But soon after the game, Lamb posted on his Instagram story that he received a letter from the NFL alerting him that he would be drug tested.
#Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb was immediately drug tested by the NFL after having 13 receptions, 227 yards, and 1 TD.
He also broke the Cowboy’s single-season records for receptions and receiving yardage.

The timing is certainly suspect, especially because Lamb’s performance wasn’t that surprising given how he’s played all season.
Week 17 was Lamb’s sixth game with at least 11 receptions and his eighth with at least 100 receiving yards.
He now has 122 receptions for 1,651 yards and 10 touchdowns – numbers that rank top-five in the league before the rest of the Week 17 slate.
Lamb’s performance played a critical role in the Cowboys’ win over the Lions as he caught a 92-yard touchdown to give Dallas the early lead and hauled in seven receptions that resulted in first downs.
The Cowboys now have a chance to win the NFC East and possibly take the No. 1 seed in the conference if the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles lose their final two games of the year.
Lamb could also be in contention for NFL Offensive Player of the Year with his production near the top of the league at his position.
His performance comes at a critical time in Lamb’s career, too, with a major contract extension looming either this offseason or next offseason.
