To say that the Baltimore Ravens and Ray Rice have a complicated history would be a bit of an understatement.

For reasons we all know, Rice went from being one of the biggest icons to a bit of an infamous figure to most people.

However, the team recently announced that they will honor him as the ‘Legend of the Game’ when they host the Miami Dolphins in a crucial AFC showdown.

This clearly shows that the team and the player have buried the hatchet after their legal stand-off years ago following his infamous suspension.

Needless to say, this is a somewhat controversial decision that’ll be met with some backlash and criticism, even by some of their fans.

The Ravens could definitely use as much inspiration as they can get, as they’re going to square off against one of the toughest teams in the game, and they have yet to secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

John Harbaugh’s team boasts a physical and stout defense and one of the most versatile and dynamic offenses in the game, and they’re coming off their biggest win of the season.

They still control their own destiny to finish the season with the best record in the league, but going against the Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers in the final two weeks of the regular season will be back-to-back tough challenges.
