The Golden State Warriors struggled to win games to begin the 2023-24 NBA season.
A key reason behind the team’s struggles was the inconsistency of Draymond Green and his habit of getting into heated altercations during games.
After multiple incidents, the NBA decided to indefinitely suspend the four-time NBA champion.
While many believed Green’s absence would negatively impact the Warriors, the organization is playing much better in the absence of their veteran forward.
Either way, most have a common belief about the length of Green’s current suspension, and it was revealed via Warriors on NBCS.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski shared that there’s a “general belief” that his suspension will cover a range of 11 to 13 games.

Prior to getting suspended, Draymond Green was averaging 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game for the Warriors.
One thing that helped Green stay a crucial member of the Warriors over the years was his ability to play elite defense and be a vocal leader for the team.
However, Green was failing at that during the 2023-24 NBA season.
That’s evident from the fact that the Warriors are currently on a five-game winning streak and have improved their record to 15-14 in the absence of him.
In fact, the Warriors have a shot at increasing their winning streak against the Denver Nuggets during their NBA Christmas Day matchup.
As far as Green’s suspension is concerned, how long he is out remains to be seen.
