The Kansas City Chiefs’ day was far from the celebration that they thought they would have when they faced off against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday.
Stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were both visibly frustrated at various times throughout the game.
Mahomes was seen yelling at his offensive line on the sidelines, while Travis Kelce slammed his helmet into a bench in frustration.

The Raiders were riding high as the Chiefs began to melt down.
The Raiders’ 20-14 win was fueled by two defensive touchdowns and a rough day for Mahomes who only threw one touchdown pass and had a pick-six.
Meanwhile, the win for the Raiders kept their playoff hopes alive and ended a longtime losing streak to the Chiefs that dated back to 2020.
After the game, interim head coach Antonio Pierce had an inspiring locker room speech and reflected on the team’s resilience through a rocky season.
“I believe. We believe,” Pierce said.

Nice job coach and thank you for the good memories as a giant. I pray to God that you get the job as a head coach of the raiders you deserve it. Happy holidays my brother.

The Raiders played without injured running back Josh Jacobs, but won despite a poor showing from their offense.
However, all that mattered was the win, as quarterback Aidan O’Connell mentioned after the game.
“That’s why it’s a team sport,” O’Connell said. “It was a team win.”
The Raiders are now 4-3 under Pierce after Josh McDaniels was fired midseason.
