The San Francisco 49ers are on a six-game winning streak, and not only have they been winning games with ease, but they have defeated most of their opponents who currently have a winning record.
They have easily defeated the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles this year, and many feel they’re the clear favorite right now to win the Super Bowl championship.
Running back Christian McCaffrey says a big key to the 49ers’ outstanding play has been the unselfishness of his teammates, which has led to everyone playing for and helping each other out, per SiriusXM NFL Radio.

McCaffrey is having quite a season, as he has totaled 1,293 rushing yards, 509 receiving yards, and 20 total touchdowns from scrimmage through 14 games.
He has been playing so well that his name has come up as a possible MVP candidate, and some even feel he deserves the award more than Niners quarterback Brock Purdy, who is first or second in several relevant categories.
The 49ers have a team-oriented culture where their skill players are willing to block when they don’t get the ball, but they also have a culture of accountability where players who don’t give 100 percent are held responsible.
It is the type of culture that championship teams in any sport tend to have.
McCaffrey is a truly unique running back, not just because of his physical qualities or productivity on the ground, but also because of his ability to run routes and make catches while masquerading as a wide receiver.
He and his team will face a big test on Christmas Day when they host the Baltimore Ravens who, like them, hold an 11-3 record.
