The 2023 NFL Season has been something of a whirlwind.

With three weeks left in the season, there is still much to be decided, including the seeding of the playoffs.

The field is far from set, and at this point, several teams could sneak into the dance and make a run at a Super Bowl victory.

While several teams might have a chance, the San Francisco 49ers have become a favorite for many analysts.

Joe Fortenbaugh recently pitched his case for the 49ers to take home the title this season, saying, “This is the year for Kyle Shanahan.”

Fortenbaugh believes this might be the best team Shanahan has coached, given the amount of talent on both sides of the ball.

He called Brock Purdy’s play “rock solid,” adding that the team is also efficient at running the ball.

Ultimately, Fortenbaugh said this team “can win it all.”

This is due to the 49ers being a “cut above the rest,” something that has not been the case when they have fallen short in past Super Bowls.

The 49ers lost the 2020 Super Bowl to the Kansas City Chiefs and the 2013 Super Bowl to the Baltimore Ravens.

Despite their failures in recent history, with their current team makeup in mind, Fortenbaugh thinks they can take down any opponent.

Besides the 49ers, there hasn’t been a team to establish themselves as a dominant contender, making it their Super Bowl to lose.

With three weeks left in the regular season, fans won’t have to wait long to see how it all plays out.
