With just three weeks left in the 2023 NFL season, some teams are already fighting for their lives.

Others have a prime chance to run away with the conference and secure the first seed, but they’ll have to be at their best for the remainder of the campaign to do so.

That’s why NFL analyst Peter Schrager believes the playoffs have officially started for both the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens.

Judging by their records and their remaining schedule, they need to win out if they want to prevent the Kansas City Chiefs from coming out of the left field to secure home-field advantage again.

The Ravens (11-3) are going to play the San Francisco 49ers before hosting the Miami Dolphins and closing out the season with a divisional rivalry game with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Dolphins (10-4), on the other hand, will host the Dallas Cowboys before playing the Baltimore Ravens and finishing the year with a home game vs. the red-hot Buffalo Bills.

As for the Chiefs (9-5), they have three winnable games vs. the Las Vegas Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals before closing out the season at the Los Angeles Chargers.

Andy Reid’s team will have it tough to clinch the No. 1 seed because of the Ravens’ and Dolphins’ records, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see them win just one of their three remaining games, while the Chiefs should win all three.

Whatever the case, the race for the AFC playoffs is going to be one for the ages, and it’ll be interesting to see whether these teams will be up to the task.
