The Green Bay Packers will look to continue their good moment despite not having one of their best offensive players on the field.
Star RB Aaron Jones won’t partake in Monday night’s game vs. the New York Giants, according to a report by Tom Pelissero of NFL Media.
#Packers RB Aaron Jones (knee) isn’t expected to play tonight against the #Giants, per source.
Jones, who is listed as questionable, is working hard to get back. He’s just not ready. So, it’ll be the AJ Dillon show again tonight.

Jones has missed his team’s last two games and was listed as questionable on Saturday after being limited in practice all week.
Nonetheless, it seems like he’s still not quite recovered from his knee injury, and Matt LaFleur is going to play it safe with him.
Also, it’s not like the Packers aren’t used to playing without him, as he’s already missed five games due to injuries this season.
Backup RB A.J. Dillon has been the team’s lead back in his absence, all while Patrick Taylor sits right behind him in the depth chart.
The Packers could also elevate veteran Kenyan Drake from the practice squad ahead of their matchup.
Matt LaFleur’s team has gotten back on track after a rough patch earlier in the campaign.
Jordan Love has taken a big leap, and his chemistry with Christian Watson has been among the league’s best over the past month or so.
And with the Detroit Lions laying an egg vs. the Chicago Bears on Sunday, the Packers can go back to dreaming of a chance of taking over the NFC North division, against all odds.
Even if that doesn’t happen, making the playoffs still seems quite feasible for the Cheeseheads.
