The New York Jets have had a revolving door at quarterback this season, and that door will whirl once again when they host the upstart Houston Texans this weekend.
It was thought that future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, whom they traded for during the offseason, would be the man to finally make them relevant, but he tore his Achilles on their first offensive series of the year.
After that, it was back to third-year man Zach Wilson, but more recently, the Jets went with Tim Boyle under center after Wilson continued to struggle.
After starting two games, Boyle was released, and Wilson will be back as New York’s starter for Week 14.
Per Rich Cimini, Wilson commented on his mentality for his next game.
Zach Wilson says he will be playing with a chip on his shoulder, but adds, “I’m gonna have more fun than I’ve ever had.”#Jets

Wilson was the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and he had done very well in his last season at Brigham Young University by completing 73.5 percent of his pass attempts and throwing 33 touchdown passes against just three interceptions.
The hope was that after decades of lacking a high-quality QB, the Jets had finally gotten their hands on one.
But in three pro seasons, Wilson has never completed as many as 60 percent of his passes in any one year, and he has been very turnover-prone.
This year, he has more interceptions (seven) than touchdown passes (six), and he also has nine fumbles, which has resulted in the Jets ranking near the bottom of the league in many offensive categories.
With a 4-8 record, they have two chances of making the playoffs: slim and none.
