For much of this season, it looked like a lost year for the Green Bay Packers.
After trading future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers and also losing key veteran wide receiver Allen Lazard, a new, uncertain era began with Jordan Love at quarterback, and the early results were dismal.
But lately, Love has raised his level of play after struggling in September and October, and as a result, the Packers have won three games in a row.
They’re 6-6 and suddenly in the hunt for an NFC playoff spot, which led Kyle Brandt to say that they’re a team to look out for the rest of the season, per NFL Network.

On Sunday night, the Packers met the defending Super Bowl champions, and believe it or not, Love outplayed Patrick Mahomes, the two-time MVP and world champion.
Love went 25 of 36 for 267 yards and three touchdowns without throwing an interception, and he helped Green Bay maintain a lead from wire to wire.
When the Chiefs threatened by coming to within two points early in the fourth quarter, he calmly led his team’s offense downfield and allowed it to add two field goals for a final score of 27-19.
Prior to this season, Love had started just one game after he was the No. 26 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and the reality was that it would take some time before he could be truly evaluated.
If he were a stock, people throughout Wisconsin would be buying it en masse right now and expecting it to continue to appreciate.
