Kevin Durant is usually regarded as one of the best scorers of all time.
For many, Durant’s scoring prowess is unmatched by any other player in the history of the league.
While Durant had an off-night as per his standards against the Denver Nuggets, he reached an impressive milestone in the loss.
Durant surpassed NBA legend Moses Malone for the 10th spot in the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
After the game, Durant acknowledged the achievement with a one-word response, as revealed via Duane Rankin on Twitter.
“Yep.”

Kevin Durant wasn’t his usual dominant self in the Suns’ 111-119 loss against the Nuggets.
Sure, the veteran forward recorded 30 points, 4 rebounds, and 11 assists in the game, but he barely reached the mark.
After all, Durant failed to knock down even a single shot in the second half against the Nuggets.
Durant had an embarrassing 0-of-10 shooting display in the final two quarters of the game.
Fortunately, Durant had already surpassed Moses Malone on the list in the first half itself.
Speaking of which, Durant needed just 17 points to reach the 10th spot on the list, but considering he ended up with 30 points, he closed the gap for reaching the ninth spot.
Durant has now scored 27,423 points in his NBA career.
Considering the Phoenix Suns superstar is still playing at an elite level, he will have a chance to score more than 30,000 points in his career.
Durant will become only the eighth player in NBA history to reach that feat if he indeed manages to cross 30,000 points.
