The Dallas Cowboys continue to play at a high level.
They have won four straight games and there is not a player playing better in the NFL than quarterback Dak Prescott.
Since the Cowboys’ bye week in Week 7, Prescott has improved drastically.
Over the past six games, he has thrown for 20 touchdowns with only two interceptions.
Also in those six games, Prescott has 2+ passing touchdowns in every game.
There is no doubt Prescott is firmly in the MVP discussion.
But, not everyone seems to feel that way.
Dan Patrick is still hesitant to put Prescott in the MVP race because of the upcoming games.
The Cowboys are set to face four straight quality opponents and Prescott will have a chance to solidify himself.
Patrick even mentioned that he wants to see what the Cowboys do in January.
“Even after last night, and it’s not fair to Dak but it comes with the territory of being the Cowboys QB… but we’re still waiting for the big game, big moment… We want to see what you do in January. Everything with the Cowboys is what you do in the postseason.”

The MVP race is a regular-season award, so the winner will be voted on before the playoffs begin.
Prescott and the Cowboys have one of the toughest schedules in football over the next month.
Patrick mentioned if the Cowboys can go 3-1 or 4-0 over that stretch, it will be clear the Cowboys are top contenders.
No player is held to a higher standard than Prescott.
When you play quarterback for the Cowboys that is what happens.
Dallas needs to win as many games as possible to keep their hopes of an NFC East title alive.
The Cowboys struggle to run the ball.
So for Dallas to win, Prescott must continue to play at an MVP level.
