The Dallas Cowboys are hitting their stride at the perfect time as they’re stringing together wins and showing the NFL that they’re definitely in the Super Bowl conversation.

The Cowboys have been arguably the best team in all three phases of the game since the middle of the 2023 NFL season and their most recent win against the Washington Commanders highlighted how dominant they can be.

Dallas beat Washington 45-10 on Thanksgiving Day, a contest that was never particularly close though they gave their fans something to enjoy with their holiday feasts.

Dak Prescott has been on fire the past month throwing the football and he had another impressive performance as he threw for 331 yards and four touchdowns in the win against the Commanders.

After a slow start to the year, Prescott is in a great rhythm throwing the football and is creeping up the MVP straw polls.

However, Joy Taylor doesn’t believe Prescott’s done enough to win the award via Speak.

Taylor brings up several factors working against Prescott including Dallas’ standing in the NFC East, the quarterback’s individual stats, and the lack of a signature moment during the season.

Taylor also argues that the Cowboys haven’t beaten a good team during their recent stretch and that’s also a valid point when looking at their opponents’ win-loss records.

Although Prescott’s certainly in the MVP conversation, he seems behind other candidates like Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes.

However, Prescott can make a strong case for himself if he’s able to keep the good times rolling in Dallas.
