William Galston, one of the founders of No Labels in 2010, resigned from the group earlier this year in protest over the group’s plan to run a presidential candidate.

He told the New York Times that “this plan had no chance of succeeding” and that “I believed that anything that could divide the anti-Trump coalition was too risky to undertake.”
