The Los Angeles Clippers made the first big splash of the NBA season.
During the first week of the season, they decided to trade some of their depth for a disgruntled star.
The Clippers acquired James Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers in a deal that shocked the league.
So far, the deal has been a complete disaster for the Clippers.
Harden has played five games with them and they have lost every single one.
The fit is awkward with Harden playing next to Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook.
Each guy wants the ball, and their team has suffered because of it.
But Harden seems to think his new team will get things figured out sooner than later.
According to Chris Haynes via NBACentral, Harden said: “When we figure this out, it’s going to be scary.”

The only problem with that comment is there is a track record of teams with Harden that cannot figure it out.
The Clippers are Harden’s fifth team and he has yet to win anything substantial with any of them.
Also, Harden is no longer in the prime of his career.
He is not the scoring threat he once was and causes more problems off the court than solutions on it.
Despite all the drama surrounding the Clippers, they should be good enough to make the playoffs.
At some point, their losing streak will subside and they will win games.
But, thinking this team has any chance of competing for a championship is far-fetched.
