The Buffalo Bills miss Brian Daboll; that’s just a fact.

Ever since he left to be the New York Giants Head Coach, their offense hasn’t been the same, and we’re not talking about the numbers.

We’re talking about play-calling, play design, and overall efficiency.

Notably, even former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky believes the Bills’ offense is schematically wrong right now.

Allen and the Bills have been inconsistent and erratic this season.

James Cook needs to get more touches, yet he gets benched for long stretches.

The Broncos have struggled against the run all season, and Cook is an explosive back, but they still refused to get him more involved in a game where they had some serious issues moving the chains.

Also, Allen hasn’t been as efficient in shotgun as he’s been under center, yet he continues to get plays called with a shotgun formation, which has often led to interceptions.

The quarterback deserves some of the blame for pressing and his decision-making, but he just doesn’t seem comfortable in this offensive scheme overall.

Allen has always been this kind of player; it’s not like he’s regressed; it’s just that he’s not being put in a position to do what he does best.

You never know what version of the Bills you’re going to get, and inconsistent teams aren’t Super Bowl material.
