The Buffalo Bills have been up-and-down throughout the 2023 NFL season, but they still sit at 5-3 and in pole position to compete in the AFC.
The Bills are slated to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football in Week 9, one of the most highly-anticipated matchups of the season.
The game features numerous offensive stars on both teams headlined by Josh Allen and Joe Burrow.
However, the receivers are also star-studded with Stefon Diggs, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
With so much offensive talent on the field, both defenses will have their work cut out for them in one of the highest-projected scoring games of the week.
To bolster their secondary, Buffalo is bringing up veteran cornerback Josh Norman from the practice squad via the team’s official Twitter account.

As of right now, the team is starting Dane Jackson and Christian Benford at the cornerback spots though Norman provides some depth for game day.
Buffalo has been hit hard with injuries throughout the season, so their elevation of Norman makes some sense at this juncture of the year.
Norman was once considered one of the best man-to-man defensive backs in the league but is far past his prime at this point of his career.
It’s hard to imagine that the Bills will immediately throw Norman into the fire, though he could see some snaps in order to evaluate what he has left in the tank.
Regardless of how many snaps Norman sees, Buffalo’s defense will need to be at its best if it hopes to contain a streaking Cincinnati squad.
