The Golden State Warriors entered the 2023-24 NBA season without their vocal leader, Draymond Green.
Green has been sidelined for several weeks due to an ankle injury he picked up ahead of the NBA Training Camp.
While the Warriors missed their veteran, they still started the season with a respectable 1-1 record.
Despite the good start, the Warriors will need Green in the long run.
Keeping that in mind, Anthony Slater, via his official Twitter handle, delivered a piece of good news for Dub Nation as Green is slated to return for the Warriors’ Sunday night game against the Houston Rockets.
Draymond Green said he will make his season debut on Sunday in Houston: “Tomorrow. For sure.” Said he expects a minute limit but doesn’t yet know if he is starting or coming off the bench.

Green did mention that he expects himself to be on a minute restriction, but the former NBA Defensive Player of the Year will return to the lineup.
Unless head coach Steve Kerr decides to make a last-minute change to the roster, fans will finally get to see Draymond Green in action for the first time in the 2023-24 season.
Last season, Green averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game for the Warriors.
Green’s numbers may not pop out of the box score, but the biggest impact the veteran forward makes is on the defensive end of the floor.
He’s an elite defender and has anchored the team’s defense throughout their four NBA Championships in six trips to the NBA Finals.
But fans shouldn’t expect Green to be at his best in his debut.
After all, he didn’t even have a chance to get warmed up during Training Camp and preseason before the regular season started.
