Over the last few years, the Oklahoma City Thunder have slowly crawled back as one of the contenders in the Western Conference.
The organization entered a rebuilding phase after trading away Russell Westbrook and Paul George.
While many expected the franchise to struggle for years, OKC could make a playoff push this season.
A big reason for this could be Chet Holmgren.
Speaking of Holmgren, he had an insane stat line, including 7 blocks against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the 7’0″ forward mentioned via his official Twitter handle that the NBA made an error while calculating his stat line.
@nba please go watch the tape and give me the correct # of blocks. Idc about stats but I worked hard af for those😂 good W thunder up lol

Holmgren mentioned that he doesn’t care about the number of blocks he gets in a game, but at the end of the day, he worked hard for them.
Keeping that in mind, Holmgren hilariously urged the NBA to rectify their mistake by watching the tape of the game.
In the end, Holmgren also praised his team for defeating the Cavaliers, where he recorded 16 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, and 7 blocks.
Following the stunning victory, the Thunder are now 2-0 to start the season.
For a team that hasn’t made the playoffs in the last three seasons, it’s certainly a great start to the season.
With the core of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, and Chet Holmgren, the Thunder may become a dark horse team to make a deep playoff run later this season.
Will the Thunder continue playing at this level or cool off in a few games? Well, fans will find out in the next few weeks.
