The Boston Celtics spent their offseason bolstering their roster after getting eliminated in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat.

The Celtics somewhat took their revenge against the Heat in their recent matchup during the regular season.

Sure, it doesn’t hold the same value as eliminating a team in the playoffs, but it must have given the Celtics a morale boost against the Heat.

The final score stood at 119-111 in favor of the Celtics.

While the starting five of the Celtics combined for 111 points, Jayson Tatum credited Oshae Brissett for providing the spark for the Celtics via Celtics on NBC Sports on Twitter.

“He was the sole reason that we got back into the game and I told him that,” Tatum said.

Brissett scored just 2 points in 14 minutes, but it was his rebounding that made a huge difference for the Celtics.

The former Indiana Pacers forward grabbed 5 rebounds for the Celtics during a crucial moment in the game.

It ultimately changed the momentum for the team.

The Celtics are most analysts’ favorites to win the 2024 NBA Championship.

However, there is a key flaw that many believe could hold the team back.

The Celtics might be too reliant on their starting five.

Against the Heat, the bench contributed just six points in the win.
