The Las Vegas Raiders, with new starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, are currently 3-4, and while it isn’t a terrible record, it is still a disappointment for a team that has the type of talent they possess.
They’re coming off an ugly 30-12 loss to the Chicago Bears, a team that is clearly worse than them, and they will play the Detroit Lions this Monday as their schedule will get more difficult.
Garoppolo was asked what it would take for the Raiders to turn things around, per Vegas Sports Today, and he said everyone has to be together.
“That’s what it takes to get to the next level.”
Jimmy Garoppolo speaks on what it takes to turn the Raiders season around and make a run on the postseason after doing the same with previous teams in San Francisco.

The signal-caller has a reputation as an excellent leader on and off the field, and it’s a reputation he cultivated during his time with the San Francisco 49ers.
He started his career as a backup to Tom Brady on the New England Patriots before the 49ers traded for him in 2017, and upon his arrival there, he resurrected the once-proud franchise.
In his last four seasons there, he led them to the NFC Championship Game three times, and in each of the last two campaigns, the Niners were under .500 in late October.
In Las Vegas, Garoppolo has Davante Adams, one of the two or three best wide receivers in the NFL, and Josh Jacobs, who led the league in rushing yards last season.
Although Adams is playing well, Jacobs isn’t, and the team also has issues defensively, especially when it comes to stopping the run.
Multiple Raiders players have publicly blasted the organization, and therefore Garoppolo’s leadership skills will be sorely needed in order to keep things together.
