Canadian captain Christine Sinclair will officially retire from international soccer at the end of 2023, ending a run as one of this country’s most dominant athletes.
Sinclair, the all-time leading international goal scorer, will retire after a pair of friendlies in her home province in December.
On Thursday, Sinclair will speak to the media in Montreal about her decision to retire and to look back on her remarkable career wearing the maple leaf.
