Green was previously listed as ‘questionable’ after practising on Sunday, but was downgraded as Kerr wanted to give him time to do additional training.
“I do feel good,” Green told reporters on Sunday. “I don’t feel all the way, 100 per cent myself, but I’m getting there.”
Green suffered the sprained ankle during off-season workouts and was sidelined for all five pre-season games.
Green, 33, has played his entire 10-year career with the Warriors, winning four championships with the team in addition to a Defensive Player of the Year award and four All-Star appearances.
He played in 73 games last season, averaging 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 31.5 minutes per game.
