The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the most dominant players in the game in Travis Kelce.
Kelce is a perennial mismatch near the end zone, and a very fast player for his size and weight.
His athleticism and reliable hands have given Patrick Mahomes an elite target, and they’ve become one of the best duos this game has ever seen.
With that in mind, legendary TE Shannon Sharpe tipped his hat to him, calling him the best pass-catcher in the league and even going as far as to call him the GOAT tight end (via First Take).
“I think [Travis Kelce] is the GOAT tight end. … But you say the most dangerous pass catcher? It’s Tyreek Hill.”

He praised him for the way he’s always able to catch the football and give his quarterback a helping hand.
However, he does believe that Tyreek Hill is the most dangerous pass-catcher in the game, which is obviously not the same.
Sharpe explained that Hill is a threat to take the football all the way to the goalpost every single time he gets his hands on the ball, adding that he’s the most feared and explosive player at any position in the game.
Needless to say, Mahomes is a fortunate player.
He’s proven to be able to win with or without them, but he’s had the chance to play with two of the greatest players in modern football history.
They’ve made each other better, and there’s no wonder why the Chiefs have been so successful over the past half-decade with that kind of talent on their roster.
