The Los Angeles Lakers are going to be one of the most-watched teams during the 2023-24 NBA season as they’ve got a loaded roster capable of competing for a championship.
After making the Western Conference Finals, the Lakers are hoping to advance one more round and put themselves in a position to capture the franchise’s 18th title.
Leading Los Angeles run will be LeBron James who looks great physically as he enters Year 21 of his Hall of Fame career.
James spent the offseason rehabbing from a torn tendon in his foot and looks past the issue after a solid showing in the preseason.
The King may be ceding more responsibility to Anthony Davis who looks ready to take the next step as the face of the franchise, but James remains an integral part of their championship hopes.
However, James has been taking in the NFL on his last Sunday before the start of the regular season and had high praise for Lamar Jackson via his Twitter account.
Man Lamar is so damn good!!! Wow!! Pocket presence 🐦⬛

Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens took on the Detroit Lions and the quarterback had an amazing first half where he was able to create plays both on the ground and with his legs.
Baltimore’s signal-caller is still one of the premiere dual-threat quarterbacks in the league and he was in a zone dissecting the Detroit defense during the afternoon.
James can certainly appreciate Jackson’s play as he was a former football player himself, though Lakers fans are hoping that he can replicate that same kind of success on the basketball court this year.
