The NBA hasn’t even begun its regular season, and the trade rumors are already starting to swirl, with the Chicago Bulls potentially considering moving star forward Zach LaVine if the team gets off to a slow start this year.

This isn’t anything new for the Bulls, as the trade rumors have been coming out of Chicago for the last few years, with LaVine and DeMar DeRozan being the two names that consistently pop up ahead of the NBA trade deadline.

However, this could be the season in which the team finally decides to blow it up, with neither of their top two players getting any younger and the future of the team looking bleak, to say the least, if they can’t put it together this season.

According to Sam Amico of Hoops Wire, if the Bulls are clearly a mediocre team heading into February, the team might be ready to move on from LaVine, via NBACentral.

Although LaVine hasn’t exactly been able to live up to expectations as the No. 1 option in Chicago, he’ll likely have a few interested teams on the trade market if the Bulls ultimately decide to go in this direction.

The New York Knicks have been linked to LaVine for quite some time but have held back on making a deal to acquire the talented scorer, even though he might be the missing piece to the puzzle in the Big Apple.

With LaVine already seemingly on the trade block, it’ll be interesting to see where things go in Chicago and where he could end up.
