Armand Hill went for 499 rushing yards and five touchdowns on Friday night, a feat that is only matched by the fact that he is a freshman.

Hill’s effort very nearly made history but his performance was a strong day at the office for West Mifflin (West Mifflin, Pennsylvania). Hill’s efforts helped West Mifflin roll to a 42-7 win over Hopewell (Aliquippa, Pennslyvania).

With the win, West Mifflin improves to 5-4 on the season.

The numbers for Hill are staggering as he had 300 rushing yards at halftime of Friday’s win. His reported 499 rushing yards are believed to be the second-most rushed for in a single game in WPIAL history.

The tweet is from Vincenzo Steele, an assistant coach on West Mifflin. Oh, and Hill was offered by UNLV last week.

It has been an incredible year for Pennsylvania running backs. Juelz Goff, a Pitt commit who is from York, was on an absolute tear at the start of the season and has made a serious case to be a four-star running back prospect.

Last week, Goff topped 250 rushing yards in becoming his high school’s all-time leading rusher.
