It has been another frustrating season for the Las Vegas Raiders, and although they have a 3-3 record, that mark is somewhat misleading, as they have plenty of issues.
More than one of their players has expressed their frustration over the environment of the team, and that has included Davante Adams, their star wide receiver.
Adams is frustrated because he feels he hasn’t gotten enough targets and touches, and he recently said that his “benchmark is not wins and losses — it’s greatness.”
Some may not like that statement and may feel it sounds somewhat selfish, but former star running back LeSean McCoy made it clear that he likes what Adams said in regards to his usage while on a recent episode of Fox Sports 1’s “Speak.”

On the season, Adams has a very solid 471 receiving yards and three touchdowns, but in his last two games combined, he has just six catches for 74 yards.
Ironically, the Raiders won both of those contests, but they will likely need more from Adams if they are to have a real shot at making the playoffs this winter.
The team’s passing game has lots of room for improvement, as new quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has already thrown eight interceptions in five games, and he will be out this week against the Chicago Bears after he suffered a back injury on Sunday versus the New England Patriots.
The Raiders have made the playoffs just twice in the last 20 seasons, and they haven’t won a single postseason game since they reached the Super Bowl in the 2002 campaign.
