The Miami Dolphins are having some kind of a season, and so far, it has resulted in a 5-1 record, which is tied for the best mark in the NFL.

They are dominating on the offensive side of the football, where they rank first in points and total yards, and wide receiver Tyreek Hill already has 814 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns, both of which lead the league.

As a team, Miami is tops in both passing and rushing yards right now, which makes them the first NFL team since the 1941 Chicago Bears to be first in both categories, per FOX Sports: NFL.

The team has scored over 30 points four times in six games and over 40 points twice, and it famously went into volcano mode in Week 3 when it put up 70 points against the Denver Broncos.

Last weekend, the Fins fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter to the struggling Carolina Panthers, but quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw multiple touchdown passes in the second quarter, and they never trailed again, as they won, 42-21.

Miami has continued to excel offensively even though they lost sensational rookie running back De’Von Achane to a knee injury that has kept him out of their last two contests.

Achane had run for 460 yards and five touchdowns while adding nine receptions for 67 yards and two touchdowns through four games.

The Dolphins will get another chance to prove they’re legitimate Super Bowl material when they go up against the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Pennsylvania.
