After finishing with a miserable 6-11 record in 2022, the Las Vegas Raiders have already won three of their first six games as they head into Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season.

Despite the fact that it appears the team has improved from their struggles last year, Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams believes they could be even better this season.

There’s a catch, though, as Adams thinks Las Vegas has what it takes to improve even more this year by increasing his opportunities to get the ball in his hands each week.

The All-Pro wide receiver was recently met with a bit of criticism after he revealed that he’s been frustrated with his role in the offense lately despite the Raiders winning each of their last two games.

Adams attempted to clarify his remarks on Thursday with a post on Twitter.

During Las Vegas’ win over the New England Patriots last week, Adams finished the matchup with just two catches for 29.

This came after a Raiders victory in Week 5 over the Denver Broncos when he only accumulated a total of four receptions for 45 yards.

Oddly enough, Adams’ three lowest single-game receiving yards totals from this season have all taken place in matchups that Las Vegas has won.

So, would the Raiders actually be better off by getting one of the best wide receivers in the NFL more involved in their offense?

It seems like a simple answer, but perhaps Las Vegas would prefer to run an offense that doesn’t make the quarterback feel like he has to force the ball to Adams all the time.
