Micah Hudson juked around the first defender after making a catch, putting the man on the ground. As he streaked up field, a pair of defenders collided with each other while in pursuit. Fifteen yards later, he was still on his feet, and two more defenders dove to no avail.
The five-star Texas Tech commit is rated universally as one of the top wide receivers in the class of 2024, and he used his not only his route running skills but his running back chops on this 75-yard touchdown reception in which just about half the defense tried, failed, and hit the dirt while in pursuit.

Hudson is a multi-sport athlete who, according to 247Sports and MaxPreps, has played football, basketball, soccer, and track and field during his high school career at Lake Benton (Texas) High School. That footwork from other sports was on display during the run, as he broke defenders’ ankles (figuratively) and put on a burst of speed for the radar gun.
Last season, Hudson had 65 receptions for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns while rushing 32 more times for 243 yards and a score. He has been on the high school scene since his freshman year, when he had 12 total touchdowns, six of them on the ground, according to 247Sports and On3.
He is ranked on the 247Sports Composite as the No. 7 player in the class of 2024 and No. 2 wide receiver.
Listed at 6-foot and 190 pounds, Hudson committed to Texas Tech on Sept. 11. Despite the commitment, Hudson is still reportedly visiting other schools, as he took an official visit to Texas A&M last week, according to On3’s Charles Powers. He has 35 offers, according to 247Sports.
