The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference in recent years.
But this year they are being looked at as an afterthought.
That is mostly because the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks made huge moves to improve.
While the Sixers seemingly stayed pat and kept a similar roster they are plenty good to be in the top half of the East again.
But do they have enough to take down Boston or Milwaukee?
One player that the Sixers must count on is reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid.
He has been a monster in the regular season but has struggled to get it done in the playoffs.
Embiid still remains one of the fan favorites in Philadelphia.
According to Keith Pompey, he stayed after the Sixers scrimmage to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

The Sixers have been in the news plenty this offseason for mostly the wrong reasons.
James Harden has created a saga in Philadelphia that will most likely end in him being traded.
Harden made it clear he does not want to play for the 76ers, but the front office does not plan to just give him away.
Ideally, this whole issue should be solved by the time the regular season tips off next week.
No matter what happens with Harden, this will be Embiid’s team.
