Ariana Madix got quite the SUR-prise following her Oct. 10 Dancing With the Stars performance.
After dedicating her Motown Week routine to her late father James Madix—who died of a heart attack in 2013—the Vanderpump Rules star got an uncanny hint that he was there supporting her in spirit.
While talking about her father’s love of Motown music with E! News, a piece of gold confetti fell into the 38-year-old’s hands. “That was a sign!” a shocked Madix exclusively told E! alongside partner Pasha Pashkov. “That was kind of crazy. Whoa, I felt it.” (See the full interview tonight at 11 p.m. on E!.)
The Bravo star received high scores from the judges for her quickstep routine to The Supremes‘ “You Can’t Hurry Love.”
“I think my dad would be proud,” she said following the performance. “There’s a lot of things that he just never got to see and this would be really one of them that I wish he would be able to be here for.”
