After one-time Super Bowl champion head coach Sean Payton took the Denver Broncos job this NFL offseason, he proceeded to bash former head coach and current New York Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett for the coaching job he did in the Mile High City.

Although Payton has always been revered as one of the best coaches in the league, this likely wasn’t a wise decision by him, especially right after taking the job to replace Hackett.

Payton received a lot of criticism for his comments, and rightfully so, as they were unnecessary and classless.

As a result of those comments, the Jets circled the Week 5 showdown with the Broncos in Denver on their calendar, with everyone on the team wanting to get a shot at Payton’s squad for the comments he made about their offensive coordinator.

On Sunday, the Jets got their revenge as they beat the Broncos on their home field, prompting the social media team to put together this gem after the game via Twitter.

Kevin James famously portrayed Payton in a movie recently, which obviously was the reason for the brilliant tweet that immediately went viral.

Even Aaron Rodgers, a close friend of Hackett, wasn’t happy with the comments and went after Payton, as he thought the comments were totally out of line.

The superstar quarterback also took to Twitter on Sunday to rub it in a little with a tweet supporting Hackett, who is probably feeling the love today after dropping 31 points on Payton’s team in Denver.
