The Milwaukee Bucks were put on the clock by superstar forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer, as he let it be known that if he doesn’t see the same kind of championship mindset in the locker room with this team, he’ll look to play elsewhere in the near future.

Although that stance remains, as it should for a player of his caliber, the Bucks addressed the issue by bringing in fellow superstar Damian Lillard in a blockbuster three-team trade with the Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers.

Outside of Lillard, who couldn’t wait to leave Portland this summer after they began rebuilding with rookie guard Scoot Henderson, no one was happier in Milwaukee than Antetokounmpo.

Now that the dust has settled on the trade and the team has gotten to work in training camp, Antetokounmpo had a message for this many fans and the rest of the league by saying he’s locked in on his Twitter account.

Even though the Bucks are clearly a better basketball team with the addition of one of the greatest scorers in NBA history, it remains to be seen whether this new dynamic duo will work in Milwaukee, as superstar combinations aren’t always the recipe for success in this league.

However, the Bucks are currently one of the most intimidating teams on paper, along with the Boston Celtics, who also made substantial moves this summer to bring in Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis.

Only time will tell the tale in Milwaukee, but for now, all is well for the Bucks, as they’re expected to have a successful season and a deep playoff run.
