When it comes to possessing raw talent, there aren’t many players better than Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis.
But injuries have always been an issue for Davis throughout his NBA career.
While Davis helped the Lakers win the 2020 NBA Championship, since then, he hasn’t really been impactful for the Lakers.
Davis played more than 50 games last season, the first time since the 2019-20 season.
Fortunately, ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season, Darvin Ham revealed via ClutchPoints that the big man is playing with a lot of joy.
“The thing that I’m tickled by is the joy you see in his face as he’s playing. I see a lot of joy in his face. His body is feeling good. He’s feeling good about his game.” Ham said.

Playing basketball for a living isn’t as easy as it sounds.
Many players lose their love for the game in the middle of their NBA careers.
Davis averaged 25.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game for the Lakers last season.
He may have played just 56 games last season, but he was available for most of the games during the team’s late-season push to make the playoffs.
Davis has vowed to play all 82 games for the Lakers in the 2023-24 NBA season, but can he fulfill his promise?
