Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves is known as a powerful and intimidating big man, a wonderful defender, and an expert facilitator.
He is not, however, known as a good three-point shooter.
Gobert made some headlines this summer when footage of him shooting – and making – threes on practice courts went viral.
However, his teammate Anthony Edwards doesn’t believe Gobert will be scoring many three-pointers in the regular season.
In a video shared by BasketballOnX, via NBACentral, Edwards told fellow T-Wolves players, “If Rudy shoots a three in a real NBA game, I’m walking off the court.”

So far, Gobert has never made a three-pointer during his NBA career.
But that is okay because that is not what his team wants or expects from him.
Instead, they want him for his size and power and his defensive abilities.
Still, when the footage of him posting three-pointers hit the internet this summer, some people thought that perhaps he was starting a new chapter of his career.
However, that remains very unlikely.
Instead, Gobert will be playing as he did last season and the seasons before.
But the team is hoping for more success than they found last year.
When Gobert came over to the Timberwolves, there were many who thought the team would be one of the best in the West.
The lineup featuring Edwards, Gobert, and Karl-Anthony Towns sounded like a true force to be reckoned with.
Unfortunately for them, the Timberwolves came up short last season and they hardly made the playoffs after a season featuring some lackluster performances.
Injuries and roster changes made things harder for them so some people feel like the upcoming season is really Minnesota’s first chance to prove what they are capable of.
