The Buffalo Bills almost witnessed the worst-case scenario for an NFL player on the football field last season, with safety Damar Hamlin collapsing on the gridiron during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated while still on the field with his teammates and coaches, rendered helpless and unable to do anything but watch and hope he would pull through.

Fortunately, Hamlin was then rushed to the hospital and was able to eventually make a full recovery, but the most remarkable part of all of this is he was able to salvage his football career in the NFL and remain with the Bills.

On Sunday, Hamlin made his triumphant return to the football field when the Bills went head-to-head against the division-rival Miami Dolphins in what was one of the most entertaining games of Week 4.

Ahead of his return, Hamlin shared an emotional moment with his teammates via ESPN’s Jeff Darlington and PFF.

Fortunately for the Bills, Hamlin’s return resulted in the best win of the season for Buffalo, as they were able to dominate against the Dolphins by putting up 48 points against Miami.

Along with Hamlin doing what many thought was impossible, the win over the Dolphins was arguably a breakout game for the Bills, as they handed Miami their first loss of the season while making a huge statement about the direction the team is headed.

Superstar quarterback Josh Allen had an incredible game, passing for 320 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions while also rushing for one score.

The Bills now sit atop the AFC East division while making a case as the best team in the league moving forward.
