The curious case of James Harden and his future with the Philadelphia 76ers is yet to reach a conclusion following his trade request earlier this offseason.
It has been a rollercoaster ride for sure, with each passing day bringing new developments to the story.
As things stand right now, James Harden isn’t expected to be available for Media Day, which is ultimately a sign of his desire to leave the 76ers as soon as possible.
Former NBA champions Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce recently shared their views on Harden’s antics via SHOWTIME Basketball on Twitter.
“You only got about one or two wiggles, you ain’t got no infinite wiggles,” Garnett said.
“They put up with it when you’re young,” Pierce added.
The wiggle room is running out for Harden.

The clip begins with Matt Barnes explaining how Harden can talk himself out of the league as he mentions how he’s forced his way out of the Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets.
Harden is trying the same thing with the 76ers this offseason, but there has to be a stopping point.
Garnett and Pierce agreed with Barnes’ points and warned Harden about his actions.
Garnett believes it’s okay to force his way out once or twice, but not every team that Harden plays for.
Pierce added franchises get frustrated with such behavior as a superstar gets older.
Speaking of which, Harden is currently 34 years old.
Sure, he averaged 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game last season, but he’s not getting any younger.
Harden’s best days are arguably behind him, and the way he has acted over the last few seasons, it’s hard to see any decent franchise taking the risk of trading for Harden.
If he continues this behavior, fans may soon see Harden out of the league.
