Anaheim Ducks forward Alex Killorn is expected to miss four to six weeks due to a fractured finger, the team announced Saturday.

Killorn sustained the injury during Wednesday’s pre-season game against the San Jose Sharks.

The 34-year-old signed with the Ducks as a free agent this summer after spending the first 11 seasons of his NHL career with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

He posted a career-best 37 assists and 64 points last season.

Killorn recorded 466 points (198 goals and 268 assists) over 805 games in the regular season with the Lightning.

The Halifax native also has 77 points (37 goals and 40 assists) in 140 games in the playoffs and won back-to-back Stanley Cup titles in 2020 and 2021.
