After starting the season in such dominant fashion, the Dallas Cowboys are in some trouble right now.
They lost star cornerback Trevon Diggs for the season due to a torn ACL last week, and on Sunday, they lost to the Arizona Cardinals, whom many thought would be the worst team in the NFL this season, 28-16.
This Sunday, Dallas will look to get back on track when it hosts the New England Patriots, who are coming off their first win of the year in an ugly Week 3 contest against the New York Jets.
Ezekiel Elliott, who was one of the faces of the Cowboys for years, is now a Patriot, and Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott revealed some details on a conversation he had with the running back, per Jon Machota.

Elliott was the No. 4 pick in the 2016 draft, and he took the league by storm as a rookie by leading it with 1,631 rushing yards and scoring 15 touchdowns on the ground.
He would lead everyone in rushing yards again two years later, and in total, he surpassed 1,350 yards on the ground and was named to the Pro Bowl in three of his first four seasons.
But since then, Elliott’s production has declined, and last season he had career-lows in rushing yards (876) and yards per carry attempt (3.8).
With RB2 Tony Pollard emerging as a Pro Bowler himself, Dallas deemed Elliott expendable, paving the way for him to head to New England.
Elliott may not be a starter anymore, but he has helped beef up New England’s running back room while giving them hope they can return to the playoffs.
