One injury may cause the New York Jets’ 2023 campaign to be a disaster.
They had high optimism entering the season with Aaron Rodgers behind center.
But after his season-ending Achilles injury, the Jets suddenly look lost.
Despite that massive loss, head coach Robert Saleh believed Wilson could fill in and steer them in the right direction.
While the contrary has happened, it’s puzzling that Saleh still believes that Wilson is their guy.
It’s a mindset that former Green Bay Packers player James Jones cannot understand.

Jones is delving into the mindset of the other players in the locker room because he’s been there.
Players talk to each other when things are not going well.
Therefore, whispers are starting to get louder in the Jets’ locker room.
After two games, Wilson is evidently not a solution to the massive gap Rodgers left.
Despite Wilson’s struggles, Saleh is still showing confidence in him.
The Jets will need to try to establish their running game if they are gonna have any success this season.
With their talented defense, this can still be a recipe for success that takes a lot of pressure off of Wilson.
